Key Responsibilities:
- Producing project plans to track milestones and manage changes to the plan.
- Work with our Customer Teams and with the Offer/Order Leadership Teams to create and communicate accurate delivery timelines and Business cases (BC).
- Working with the pods, effectively manage projects and deliver to agreed plans and budget, in accordance with BCs.
- Proactively manage change and scope creep with Customer Teams and other stakeholders, minimising and avoiding where possible.
- Reporting on weekly/monthly budget and resource utilization against targets.
- Interact and build consensus with and all stakeholders.
- Present on weekly basis status of the project to customer teams and internal DLX stakeholders.
- Working with the pod, proactively manage Risks & Issues, taking appropriate corrective action as required.
- 3+ years project manager experience leading complex software development deliveries.
- Experience with of MS Project and/or Jira Structure an advantage
- Proven ability to operate within a multi-locational delivery team environment with both onsite and remote engagement.
- Ability to communicate and present to all levels of organization both internally and externally.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Understanding of branching strategy, sprint planning, dependency management, different test activities and release tracking.
- Problem solver and decision maker.
- Strategic thinker encompassing the ‘customer is king’ ethos whilst ensuring company objectives are always met.
- Experience working in a demanding environment
- Experience working customers
- Prior working experience with airlines would be an advantage.
